Dansprojekt på konsthallen!

Upplev verket "Dont mind me" av Jade Stenhuijs löpande under våren på Härnösands Konsthall. Projektet är ett undersökande via dansen - av konsten, rummen och besökarna. Fri entré!

"Dont mind me" heter det undersökande dansprojekt som dansaren Jade Stenhuijs framför under våren. Stenhuijs är dansare hos Norrdans och just nu även kulturstipendiat hos Region Västernorrland. Stipendiatet möjliggör verket som kommer att både arbetas fram och framföras simultant och löpande februari - juni på Härnösands Konsthall 2022.

Introduktion till projektet

Jade Stenhuijs is a contemporary dancer, currently working at Norrdans in Härnösand. She also choreographs her own work, and in this period from February until June 2022, she will be present for a few Saturdays from 11-15, making a new work in the Konsthall.

Her work is always about the location she finds herself in. She finds and amplifies what can be perceived with our senses, and then ‘listens’ to it in movement, sound and light, intra-acting with what is present, but maybe overlooked.

For this performance, she will create, accumulate and rehearse material as usual, but the difference is that the visitors of the Konsthall will be present, which will naturally influence what and how the performance is made. She has been lucky enough to receive a Kulturstipendium from the Region Västernorrland and will further develop her work at Milvus Artistic Research Center in Knislinge in July 2022.
